ETH 2023 Masters In Africa – Engineering For Development For African Students – Ghana

The ETH Masters in Africa – Engineering for Development program for African students in Ghana is a collaborative initiative between ETH Zurich, Ashesi University, and industry partners to train the next generation of engineers to tackle Africa’s most pressing challenges. The program is currently in development and is expected to launch in 2024.

Program Overview

The program will offer a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechatronics Engineering, a field that combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. The program will be taught in Ghana by faculty from both ETH Zurich and Ashesi University, and will include a strong focus on practical applications and problem-solving.

Eligibility

The program is open to African citizens who hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in engineering or a related field. Applicants must have a strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in engineering for development.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships will be available to support students from low-income backgrounds.
