ICIPE 2023 PhD Scholarships for African Students

The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its 2023 PhD Scholarships for African Students. This program is designed to support outstanding African students in pursuing their doctoral studies in insect science at ICIPE, a world-leading research institution located in Nairobi, Kenya.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the ICIPE 2023 PhD Scholarships, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of an African country
• Have a strong academic record, with a Master’s degree in entomology, zoology, biology, or a related field

Scholarship Coverage

The ICIPE 2023 PhD Scholarships will cover the following:

• Monthly stipend of KSh 70,000 (approximately USD 650)
• Research allowance of KSh 150,000 (approximately USD 1,400) per year
• Travel costs (up to a maximum of KSh 200,000 (approximately USD 1,850))
